The official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), cbseacademic.nic.in, has recently released additional practice questions and subject-wise marking schemes for students in classes 10 and 12. CBSE Sample Paper for Class 10th & 12th contains the entire syllabus and comprises 50 percent competency-based questions. Students preparing for the CBSE Class 12 and 10 can access and download the CBSE Additional Practice Papers for the academic year 2023-2024 from the official website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

These additional practice questions are intended for use by students and teachers. They cover the complete syllabus of the subject.

The variety of questions in this new CBSE sample paper for class 10th & 12th, emphasize analytical thinking, conceptual clarity, and a deeper understanding of the subject matter. This transformation is evident across various question formats, including Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Case Study Questions, Short Answers, and Long Answers. In total, nearly 50% of the questions have been restructured to align with this competency-based approach, particularly in the form of MCQs and 1-2 Mark Questions.


How to Download CBSE Additional Practice Questions?

Step 1 – Visit the official Central Board of Secondary Education website at cbseacademic.nic.in .

Step 2 – Once on the homepage, navigate to the ‘Question Bank’ section and select ‘Additional Practice Papers.’ It will redirect you to a new webpage.

Step 3 – Depending on your class, choose the appropriate link, either ‘Class XII’ or ‘Class X.’

Step 4 – The CBSE sample question papers for both Class 10 and Class 12 will then appear on your screen.

Step 5 – Download the papers and keep a printed copy for your reference in the future.

In March 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education released the subject-wise sample question papers for the academic year 2023-24 for students of classes 10 & 12. Along with the sample paper or additional practice questions, the marking scheme of the CBSE board exam has also been released. These additional practice questions clarify the latest board exam pattern. It also includes types of questions (objective, MCQs, assertion-reason, case-based questions, short answer, long answer), and the overall structure of the question paper.

CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2023 Class 10 &12

The examination date for the CBSE Board Exams Class 10 and Class 12 are officially announced. These exams are scheduled to commence on February 15th for the academic year 2023-24.

As per the official circular and a statement issued by Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the Controller of Examinations at CBSE, the CBSE board exams for the academic session 2023-24 are scheduled to start on February 15 and are anticipated to span approximately 55 days, with a planned conclusion by April 10, 2024.
